This walk traces part of the path taken by the Irish chieftain O’Sullivan Beara and his men as they fled the English into Leitrim in 1603. The walk takes you through the lowlands and highlands of Ballyhoura and offers views of the Golden Vale, the Glen of Aherlow and the impressive Galtee Mountains
